My college life at NIT DURGAPUR

This topic transports me back to a moment that I truly enjoy. Another voyage to the past, and I'm full of energy and eager to write about my beautiful recollections.

When I first stepped into NIT DGP, I had no idea what my college experience would entail. First, I became acquainted with college, and as time passed, I discovered that it was a more engaging and exciting environment. The second semester was the most exciting for me, with technical festivals, cultural festivals (Aarohan and Recs), family freshers, farewells, and so on. I was fortunate to get enrolled in the electrical and electronics department during the second semester.

The bulk of Nepalese students, 11 out of 13, attended the ECE department. We had an impact on every decision that the students made. We used to do a lot of masti, but I couldn't go through the curriculum. In addition to lectures, we would attend tests, viva, semester exams, and seminars. How can I miss to mention the inter-hall football event, the close match between MTECH and 2nd year ECE, and thank God we won.

From an academic standpoint, the third year was the most beneficial to me. The majority of students in the ECE department received an offer. WIPRO offered me a job. It was like a dream come true. Skipping lectures quickly become a habit. We repeatedly skipped ten system programming lectures, and we suffered greatly on the final.

The last year is widely regarded as the pinnacle of everyone's college experience. No lectures or labs, just fun and partying. However, MAJI's lesson was always something I despised. He is really terrible.

I met numerous teachers during four years, but AKD sir stands out. He is a very hardworking and diligent individual. How can I forget jhoops, the best place to satisfy your stomach at a reasonable price, SAM the drink adda, the best hangout place city center where we used to visit frequently, Benacity, inter NIT football tournaments, ragging though I was never a part of it, CR our treat center, Holi @ NIT, Tihar @ NIT, 2 months in hall 5 when I was MESS secretary, the Nepal family picnic, the Nepal family freshers/farewell parties, chai time @ Bihari mode, Big bazaar, troika boat racing, the melodic fountains and beautiful lights transformed NIT Durgapur into a lovely fairyland in the nights. There was also a magnificent garden where one might sense the enchantment of heaven on earth. Every evening, the gardens came alive in a burst of bright colors and illumination, with twirling and dancing fountains creating an enchanted mood in the fairyland.

The world presented various obstacles and compelled me to take on duties. These four years of self-motivation helped me become independent and powerful. During my college years, I learnt a number of lessons that I believe helped shape me into a better person. NIT DGP is a forum that has allowed me to meet people from many backgrounds, both intellectual and cultural. It greatly aided me in approaching numerous concepts, viewpoints, and opinions. Furthermore, life at NIT provided me with a great deal of independence, including the freedom to make my own decisions, to skip lectures, and to blah blah.

College life instills the qualities of hard effort, honesty, discipline, and dedication. My four years in college were filled with excitement. Many memories continue to strike me like huge waves, but it is impossible to write them all down!! My college experience was extremely vivid and lively! My college and college life will always be rocking! Life at NIT is undoubtedly the best moment of my life.
